Snowy Fun!

We got snow! Enough to play in quite happily! :-) 

It was like the 1st time for Parker because he doesn't remember last year of course. He was so excited to watch the snow from the window!

He was so ready to play in it so we bundled up and had some great fun!

A Short Week & Winter Storms

So, I went to school on Monday while Keith took Parker to the Dr. He has another sinus infection. 

I stayed home with Parker on Tuesday.

Wednesday was my class's Pajama Day and we watched Christmas movies all day.

And then a winter storm moved in and we are out of school for Thursday AND Friday! 

Now that is a very short work week! 

Today, Parker and I enjoyed a fun, relaxing day!

 We watched the movie, Santa Paws! Parker just loves those puppies!

Something about this boy and this Christmas tree is just magical.

 The excitement is purely magical. 

Now, I'm settling in for an evening with some hot chocolate and Grey's Anatomy! I am in season 5 already :-) I will be having a late night waiting on hubby to make it safely home from work in this icy/snow storm. 

Christmas Break & 1st Snow

2 full weeks home on Christmas break = Pure Happiness!

I have spent so much time playing with Parker. There isn't anything better than staying in jammies and playing all day! 

We have gotten out a few times, for Christmas celebrations and groceries. But overall, we stayed home. 

And my sweet family of 3 spent so much time together, just us. 

It was perfect. 

On Christmas Day, it snowed! It was Parker's first snow. The first time we took him out, he hated it. But he totally loved it the next time we went out.

Spring?! Where are you?!

It snowed . . . again. I loved the snow the first time and maybe even the second time but this is TOO much! However, it sure makes for some pretty pictures!

Picture Perfect

There is something about snow. . . The way it falls. Sometimes fast or slow.  Flakes can be small or big. . . It really doesn't matter to me. Snow lays on the ground, trees, cars, houses, and anything it comes in contact with. I may love it more than others but the way it looks outside is just so serene. Peace and tranquility shine through the pictures and it is safe to say that I love it! Here in Arkansas we rarely get snow and when we do it is never much. Maybe this is the cause for my fascination.


During our snow fall yesterday I geared up with my gloves, hat, scarf, camera and trudged outside into the cold. The falling snow was beautiful. The flakes we SO BIG! I took a ton of pictures. I'm not a professional photographer by any means but I do love trying! 

First Snow of 2011

Last night it began to snow for the first time this year! It wasn't a whole lot but it was enough for schools to close! So it's a SNOW DAY! :-)
