17 Months

 You have a new top tooth! And it's towards the back! You have a few more trying to come through as well.

 New Words: aw man, grilled cheese

New Foods: olives, pickles 

 Favorite Toys: trucks/cars and hot wheels

Daddy started your hot wheel collection with about 30 cars and a carrying case. You are in LOVE! 

Favorite Foods: Well you eat non-stop sweet boy but bananas still remain your all time favorite! You also love grilled cheese, soup, pickles, apple sauce, and so much more!

 You have been so thrilled with the warmer weather because you adore being able to play outside!

 You have started making different types of collections when we play outside: sticks, pine cones, leaves, and pine needles. You pick them up and bring them back to the pile. :-) 

 Your most favorite thing right now is trucks. Looking at trucks, playing with trucks, being in a truck, seeing trucks while we drive, etc. . . So, when it comes to being in the house, you insist on sitting or standing on the couch looking out the windows at the passing trucks. 

 You put your juice, snacks, and toys in the windowsill so that everything you need is right there with you while you are truck watching!

I have so much love for you baby boy! You have the cutest, sweetest personality! Always wanting to play and be silly. There is never a dull moment when you are around and you make our life so enjoyable. Mommy and Daddy love you so much Parker!!!

16 Months

 New Words: Nana, banana, mi mow (mickey mouse), GG, truck

You had a new tooth come in on the bottom!

 Favorite foods: bananas, grapes, peanut butter fold-overs, and cheerios 

Favorite toys: books, anything you can ride (abc train, bicycle, rocking horse), cars & trucks, nite nite puppy

You just love to be outside!

 You are so polite! Always saying thanks when someone gives you something!

You ask to talk to Nana anytime someone is on their phone

You can throw quite the fit when you don't get your way!

You eat non stop!

You like to hold the bowls that your snack is in and eat it all by yourself!

You love to make your "cheesin" face and to laugh when others are laughing

 You are starting to learn how to use a spoon

You are getting close to being ready to start potty training! 

You can climb up onto the couch and you think it's hilarious!

You like to find Dada in pictures that are on the walls! 

Parker, sweet boy, you have developed the cutest and sweetest personality! Mommy and Daddy just love watching you grow and learn! We love you!!!

15 Months Old {a bit late}

New food loves: peanut butter fold-overs, waffles, big boy oatmeal

New words: tractor, thanks, brown bear, puppy, ba ball (basketball), juice

You give kisses and say "mwah" when you want to give them!

 

You ask "what's this?" to everything you pick up or look at

You carry around your toy phone up to your ear and just talk away

  You love to dance to music: shake your booty, spin circles, and move your arms around

You stomp your feet when you are mad

When I tell you no no, you point to your self

 You played in your first snow and ended up loving it!

You had a blast opening your Christmas presents

 Dada calls you his cheeser! 

When you are upset you cry, "Oh my Dada!" 

You insist on taking off your clothes as soon as we get home

 You love to climb everything: our bed, the couch, the tv stand etc . . .

Favorite toys: guitar, mickey mouse couch, basketball, abc train, all your cars/trucks, and books books books!

14 Months

22 lbs

Words: Mama, Dada, hi, bye, uh oh, ub (up), watsat (what's that), what's dis, get dat, yea, nah, guita (guitar), wow, whoa, oh, and done. Nana really wants you to say her name but you just aren't ready to do it. 

Favorite Foods: Bananas, applesauce, any fruit, mac n cheese, and peas and carrots have even been a hit lately. You think that you have to eat some of whatever we may be eating! You are drinking vanilla almond milk now and you really like it. 

Toys: Broom, books, blocks, cars/trains, stuffed animals (you love to hug them), and your bouncy ball

You are loving all of the Christmas decorations! Especially the tree/ornaments and the singing Santa from Nana!

You have started dancing when you hear music! It's so cute!!

You will clap if you hear anyone else doing it

You give "5"

You still love Daddy's guitars!

You bring so much joy and happiness to our lives, sweet boy! You are such a smart little toddler and I am so proud of how much you are taking in and learning! Mommy and Daddy love you to the moon and back! 

13 Months Old

You are a WALKER!

 
Words: Mama, Dada, hi, bye, ba ba (bottle), uh (uh-oh), ub (up), watsat (what's that), get dat, yea, and nah. You are trying hard to say broom and guitar.

You understand so many things that we say to you! We can tell you go get your juice and you will go find it! Along with a whole bunch of your toys!

When we ask you "what's going on" you put your hands up like you don't know! Hilarious!

You wave hi and bye bye

You are officially allergic to milk and it may not be something that you grow out of

We are transitioning your bottles from formula to vanilla soy milk

You love food and you eat all the time

New snacks: animal crackers, teddy grahams, goldfish, and cereal bars

You think apple juice is the best thing ever

Your favorite things to eat are still bananas and pretty much any other fruit. You love you some pasta too!

Favorite toys: your broom, cars/trains, your big pit stop shop house, your learning table, and books

You are always wrapping anything you can pick up around the back of your neck like a cape!

You love to face time with Nana. If you can't see her on the phone, you get mad.

Speaking of getting mad . . . You are quite the fit thrower if you don't get what you want or if you are told no!

You jibber-jabber constantly and it's just the cutest thing.

You are such a happy, carefree toddler who is always laughing and smiling!!!

You bite when you get excited

You love to lay on your belly to play
