Wedding Edit Fun

The package for our wedding pictures gave us the right to all 546 pictures our photographer had taken. He didn't edit them in any way. He left it up to me to decide how I wanted them. So I decided to play around a little bit with a few of our pics. I used a new site that I just learned about: www.pixlr.com. 

I'm not the queen of editing by any means but it sure was fun to play! :-) 

Bloggy Page Update

It was time to update our wedding page! With all the new wedding pictures I figured this was the best way to post so many! I also decided to add a page for our pregnancy. It has belly shots and ultrasound pictures. Plus, it has a picture of the awesome diaper bag that I am dying to use! :-) Check out the new pages! 

Beautiful Honeymoon, Our Condo

I loved our condo! It was super close to the beach, it had a balcony with a porch swing, and it was fully furnished with everything we could possibly need! It was great! Keith thought the decorating could have used a little help but I though it was just beachy! :-) This sounds funny but we really LOVED the rugs that were in the condo!!! I bet we buy some eventually! 

Welcome Home, Mr. & Mrs. Geels

We made it to Tybee Island on Tuesday, June 21. Those first few days were a big blur because we were driving on Monday/Tuesday and the wedding was on Wednesday! I have so many wedding pics and honeymoon pics to sort through and get ready to share! For now, I will leave you with two!

We Leave TODAY!

At about 1:00 when Keith comes home from work, we are packing the SUV and heading to Tybee Island, GA. We are going to make it a 2 day trip, stopping somewhere tonight. The trip is about 14 hours. I'm so excited, I don't even know how to explain it! I am going to be on the beach TOMORROW and getting MARRIED on WEDNESDAY!!!

And the Countdown Begins!

We made a run to Walmart today to make sure we had some of the things we need for the trip, like sunscreen! 

We leave for Tybee Island on Monday! 

Joy, Joy, Joy!

Lately, the joy in my heart has just been overflowing! It is a crazy feeling to me, being this happy! I am truly blessed and I find myself counting these blessings every day! 

This past weekend was a busy and great one. Keith had his scheduled December Drill on Sat and Sun. Saturday was also his military unit's Christmas Dinner. While I was getting ready my Chi hair straightener died. It was sad but luckily I was finished fixing my hair and was only touching up a few parts. I wanted to check the mail on the way out and was very excited to see that our Christmas cards had come in. Then the joy was put on a halt when Keith asked if I was almost there. His unit is in Morrilton which is an hour away . . . Needless to say I thought it started at 1 and it actually started at noon. I didn't think I was going to make it, but I did! ;-) The dinner was catered and was delicious! I had a great time visiting with the other soldier's who work with Keith. Also, Keith's unit was given dates for their next tour in Afghanistan. It has been pushed back a bit so we will have a little more time as a married couple before he will be away for a year. We came home after the dinner and had a very relaxing evening, just us two!

Sunday was a BIG, BIG day for me! I had received an email last week letting me know that my wedding dress had come in and I could pick it up! So that is exactly what I did. When I put it on this time I was almost in tears. It is MY dress and it fit perfectly other than the length. It is so white and beautiful. I don't know how else to describe it other than PERFECT. (Keith has mentioned that I've been saying perfect a lot lately. Lol) The dress is now hanging in the house and I have to admit that I have unzipped the bag and looked at it about a million times!!! It is such a wonderful addition to my wardrobe! :-) I also bought a new Chi! 

On Monday I sent out our Christmas cards! This is our first year to send out cards and I love the ones we had made with our picture on it! Next weekend we are going shopping to finish up buying presents. It will be a great trip and I'm so looking forward to it!

Some November Fun!

Here is a collage of photos from November! It has been fun-filled already and it's only the 16th! :-) The fun includes a weekend at my besties, a costume birthday party for Keith's 9yr old nephew, and shopping for my PERFECT wedding dress with my Mom, Grandma, and Maid of Honor!

Picture Frame

Yesterday I was out shopping for a present for a co-worker and I came across this picture frame. It was perfect and there was no way I could put it down and walk out of the store. So, I bought it! I can't wait to actually be able to put a picture in it and display it proudly!!! 

Keith's Wedding Band

Keith's wedding band came in and we were so excited! It is so different and it is just perfect for Keith!!! There are more pictures on our Wedding Page! :-)

Saturday Shopping

Keith and I did not make it to Mt. Nebo today. I've been having a lot of headaches recently so I didn't get much sleep last night. So, we slept in. Instead we decided to go do some shopping. We are on full force home improvement which means Lowe's has seen us A LOT. Today we got some things needed to repaint the wood trim all around our house. The paint is so old that we have to scrape the cracked old part off, sand it down, use putty stuff to make it all one smooth surface, then we can paint! After Lowe's we went to Zales and ordered Keith's Wedding Band! YAY! It's very awesome and so him! It should be here in about 2 weeks. TJ Maxx is right beside Zales so I couldn't help myself, we went in. I found an extremely b-e-a-utiful photo album that I could not resist! We also got a new cookbook. I guess I may have to use it now! We just started the grill for some dinner and the HOGS won today! It's been a perfect Saturday! :-)
